City of Westwego

Local artist, Josh Wingerter, has been contracted by various businesses and community leaders to paint images on the traffic control boxes on the Westbank Expressway which illustrate the culture and environment of Westwego. He has begun at Louisiana Street with the sewer lift station and a control box and will work his way down the expressway painting 6 boxes. These first two are sponsored by local restaurant Segnette Landing on Louisiana Street and local business Alario Bros. on Avenue A.
