If you plan to attend the Wego Winter Wonderland Chili Cook-Off on November 9th at the Westwego Farmers Market, stop by this booth to talk about Westwego’s plans for the future! Public input is invited as part of the Safer Streets for All federal grant the city received. Meet the engineers and architects meeting with Westwego officials and talk about the designs being developed. Once the plans are created, the city will seek federal and state funding to implement the plans.
If you are unable to attend the cook-off, an online survey will be released after the workshop for the public to provide feedback on the complete street concepts and traffic calming improvements presented during the in-person workshop.
Admission to the Westwego Winter Wonderland Chili Cook-Off is $10. All proceeds from this event got to the organization and its work to decorate Catfish Bourgeois Park and a Westwego family in need.
